While being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 is not a requirement for enrollment or employment at La Salle, 强烈推荐. 疫苗接种s are safe and effective and reduce the risk of severe illness. 疫苗接种s can reduce the spread of disease, which helps protect those who get vaccinated and the people around them. While La Salle is no longer requiring the use of the MyMedBot app to enter campus, we ask that everyone self-screen themselves at home prior to coming to campus. Those exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 must stay home. Symptoms include but are not limited to fever, 咳嗽, 呼吸急促(气促), 乏力, 身体疼痛, 头疼, 丧失味觉或嗅觉, 喉咙痛, 交通拥堵, 呕吐, 腹泻. If you’re not sure whether symptoms exist, we ask that you remain home and consult your medical professional.

Extracurricular Activities (athletics, performing arts, field trips, transportation, 等.)
In addition to the above protocols, additional guidelines may be put in place for all La Salle extracurricular events and use of school transportation. Coaches and moderators will provide students and families with additional information for each event as necessary.

What happens when there is a school-related positive case?

La Salle is required to report all school related positive COVID-19 cases to the Pasadena Health Department. This includes all current students, 教师, 工作人员, and coaches who test positive. We are not required to report any positive cases involving siblings, 父母, 亲戚, 邻居, 等.

  • Are you a current student or employee? (If neither, there is no need to report the case to La Salle).

  • Are you experiencing homelessness? If so, where is the general location you reside?

  • Are you experiencing symptoms? If so, what day and date did those symptoms begin?

  • What day and date did you take your COVID test?

  • What day and date did you begin your isolation?

After receiving the above information, a member of the campus COVID case team will contact you with isolation, testing and additional instructions.

无症状的 密切接触者 (those within 6 feet indoors of the subject case for more than 15 minutes) will be notified via email, and while quarantining is not required, masking for 10 days and testing 3-5 days after exposure is required.

无症状的 共享空间联系人 (shared the same indoor space with the subject case for more than 15 minutes) will be notified via email. Quarantining is not required. Additionally, masking and testing is not required but highly recommended.
